Years back Johnny Carson questioned Woody
Allen on the Tonight Show about a charge which been levied against his first wife (not Mia Farrow) during a nasty divorce that she had been violated by another man. Woody responded "you can be sure it wasn't a moving violation." Carson, who used to joke that in his next life he wanted to come back as a divorce lawyer, sat back in his chair, smiled, and said, "Woody your gonna pay through the nose for that one."

I put this joke here in front of an audience of all of two and a lot more people could see funny stuff if the protocol here wasn't so strict and it could be posted in a forum with lots of posters hanging around.

In that case, I will move this post to the Basement where things are considerably less strict and see if anyone other than you actually thinks this is funny.

You sure are a friendly guy. "it wasn't a moving violation" not just witty but clever as well. For some reason sports forums seem to attract some real winners.

ease up a little, green. you gotta know your audience. woody's humour has always been too sophisicated for the masses. well at least since bananas.
