Turkey hunting does not seem very fun to me. I don't want to get all camoflauged and sit still and quiet in the cold for 3-6 hours and wait for turkeys to come to me. I will hunt pheasant over turkey any day at least then you get to walk around with your dog.

Turkey hunting is like fly swatting in the summer here.
They come in the yard at my parents house and eat all the bird seed they put out. I could probably kill one with a knife if I jumped out the window or something. Actually, that sounds kinda fun.
We never kill them, we just buy one thats ready to cook though.
Sometimes I feel like shooting a couple for target practice but they look nice, so i let them live. Those pesky groundhogs are for target practice, I like to try and shoot them in the eye. Many times I hit with only iron sites on a .22 caliber rifle. Happy Thanksgiving sir and remember, Possom is good food !
