Hourly

The company I work for just switch over from salary/Comm to hourly/comm for thier sales rep due to some sort of law, make more money in the long run they have to pay us for company functions outside of work that they use to make us go to but didn't pay us for it. Got paid 3 hours of OT to go to a sales kickoff the other day and get wasted. Can't beat that. Plus travel time to that we didn't use to get paid for.

I Would pick Hourly but would love full Commission.

Down with Big Business.

I agree with tntitan fan. I am salary and put in more than the 37.5 I am supposed to wrk every week and get nothing for it. If i was hourly I would make about 12,000 dollars more a year.

Well, if you don't have to work a whole lot, I would say hourly. If you you do, then obviously salary. I have been on both sides. Don't work near as much now, so salary is nice. If I work 6 hours, I can take off and not have to worry about it. No worries of getting enough (OT) hours if hourly.

i second that motion. When i was working at a private golf course as a backshop employee i nearly made the same amount weekly than that of the Assistant Pro who put in more hours as well. I guess you have to see if the job payment really satisfies the difficulty and the demand of the job specification
