Are you a sports gambler or a gambler ?

I would bet, no pun intended, that I am in the minority here.

I would imagine the majority here are not only sports gamblers but are also poker players, you like tossing the dice , or play blackjack.

I wouild NOT imagine many of you play slots.

I am too cheap to go to the casion too often, because I know their advantage.
Yes, I play by what we used to call the Roberts Rules in BJ and play the odds as much as I can in craps..etc

I also know that juice is 10%$ in sports games, but I feel like I have the edge in that

therefore I would be a sports gambler .. not just a gambler...And I imagine this is the minority

I hate slots, and I don't hate much when it comes to gambling.

I'm a Gambler, Jim Kelly Houston Style, and a damn good one at that.

honestly poker is my biggest and best game. I have done solid in sports the last few years but I usually bet too big and am not as disciplined in betting than i am in poker. I have also made some decent cashes in poker and actually hit the cash out button which I have not done so much on Sportsbook. The main reason im on sportsbook is because they still let me play online poker. I do not have a local casino to go play cards whenever I want. And i havent bet on baseball for like a few months. Just a few parlays every now and then. I really cant wait for football to roll in. Thats always been my best sport when it comes to betting... So yes I am a gambler in general...

If I had the money I would piss it away.

First started playing poker online, then a little live, and thats what brought me to sports betting. Mess around with slots when I am at the casino because I have no money to gamble with table games.

But if I did I would play dice or roulette. But mainly poker

Only bet on sports, nothing else. But not so much a sports gambler these days, more a sports trader. Much less risk and worst case scenario usually is a break even game.

Its about locking in a profit no matter what happens in the game.
Sport is often fickle and usually there are a few twists and turns during the course a game.
Which is why it usually works. The times you do get burnt are when a game is one sided from start to finish which thankfully isn't that often.

So Ideally you need a very good live betting resource, such as betfair, which I realise unfortunately is a problem getting for many people in the US.
Betfair is superior to elsewhere for a couple of main reasons 1) the prices a very competitive 2) the live betting rarely suspends, which gives you much greater scope for trading.

Long story short, the objective in live betting to get both teams at odds against, or + money odds as you call it in the US. Once this is achieved a profit is locked in. Obviously the greater the + odds you get on both teams/players the greater the profit.
Its not for everyone and the bigger your bankroll the more feasible it is.

Thanks. But didn't really say it to impress anyone. Just to help. Cappersmall is a site I enjoy and has been good for me. So while I'd usually be reluctant to share info like that in a public arena. At this site its all good.
