Your Debit Card : Could You Survive A month Without Making any Purchases On It ?
Could you survive a month without using your debit card
for making any purchases ? You get paid every 2 weeks : So budget before u get paid how much you spend on : Food , Clothes , restaurants (eating out) , Beers , smokes , Gas , parking , Laundry , clothes ,hobbies ? , Kids stuff if you have em .. Haircuts , Misc shopping Set aside misc car repairs? Savings? Emergencies? TAKE OUT 2 WEEKS SPENDING ONCE IN CASH STICK TO IT Lets say your cable , phone , internet , etc all paid by internet or telephone banking or automatic checking .. Mortgage , rent is auto checking Car paymt same There was a time debit cards didn’t exist .. Thoughts ?

Do it all the time.
My debit card is so f**ked that I cant use it anywhere. Like the man says cash is king and it controls your spending when you hand out cash

its basically just writing a check...whats the difference between using that or paying in cash? it comes out of the same place

too many inconsistencies with the DC.....cash can't ever get you in trouble (strip club ATM) or decline for some F'ed up reason!

One of my instructors has always said never carry cash...."cash burns a hole threw your pocket"....I think its true. I never carry cash cause when I do have cash I spend it like its going out of style.
I think I could last 2 weeks without a debit card but im a student so I got to save.

i dont even have checks anymore
very rarely carry more than $20 cash on me debit card for everything

I always have atleast $100 cash on me. But use the debt card for almost everything.

yeah i always use my debit card for everything also. I hardly ever carry cash except when i go to subway in my own town because they dont except debit! which is ridiculous

Use it for everything.Even pay bills with it.You can keep better track of everything.The bank don't send checks back now anyway so it's the only way to go.
