Dealing With the End of the Industrial Age

Plants are closing down, millions of people being thrown out of work...

It used to be that you could be an obedient worker, put your time in, fly under the radar and keep your job...

It's not gonna work any more...

Ya gotta think in new ways to stand above others to get noticed...

Gotta offer something better than others in a smarter way...

The information age is becoming more important...

Everyone's getting hooked into the grid...

There are opportunities that are available right now with a potential to make millions down the road...

Any ideas or strategies to share?

we have seen this coming for a long time.

education has to be the main goal. Not just any education, not just get your degree but actually learn; and have the right attitude to breakthrough the clutter. Sciences, and IT is where the money is going to be.

we gotta get this through the youths head. so many dropouts, wasting their life. i'd say that if we keep it up we'll be a 3rd world country by the time our kids have kids.

I think Education and Networking are the keys. It seems like in the competitive job market and with more people moving around companies more frequently always helps to have a contact to help get your foot in the door.
