The 2010 New York Yankees - Illustrated

Sunday night was the first game for Major League Baseball and the kick off was none other then the greatest rivalry in all of sports, Red Sox vs. the Yankees.

The Yankees cruised into Fenway Park on Sunday night as the defending World Series champions. The Boston Red Sox overcame three deficits of at least two runs and scored the eventual winning run in their 9-7 victory on a passed ball.

17 more games to go in this rivalry.

Derek Jeter hustled down the first base line to keep the inning alive. Jorge Posada scored the go-ahead run. And Mariano Rivera picked up the save.

Yankees win 6-4
