He's been in college for 4 years. Staying another year helps no one but Pete Carroll. Next year you got 3 stud QB's at least coming out. Perfect time for Sanchez to come out and make the cash. He will have his degree, good for him.

You cant blaim Sanchez, this is NOTHING more than a financial decision. If I was his advisor, I would advise him to do the same, simply cause... no matter what, your stock is higher this year than it will be next year, bar none. THis is in Sanchez BEST interest from a business perspective and Carroll knows it, has nothing to do with him making it or not, he wont make it after next year either. Its the potential to go higher and get more $ up front than next year. NEXT YEAR you got coming out Tebow, McCoy, Bradford and a few more. Has ANYBODY realized that we have to hear a whole another season of COLLEGE FOOTBALL where all we hear is about these guys.... so McCoy gets the Heisman next year cause he only one that doesnt have one. There are I think 1 or 2 other QB's leaving early since these guys are all staying.
And just wait, there are 2 other sleeper QB's in the Big 12 showing up, just wait to hear about the QB conference next year.

he is already projected to be number 1 overall pick...detroit doesnt seem interested in stafford so sanchez is only logical choice.

If it did, if that ain't a bust, I don't know what is.

Sanchez went for the money. Would you have done the same thing? I would. The difference between being drafted at, say 3rd overall and possibly in the 2nd or 3rd round next year is millions.

I can see KC taking him. I'd have no problem with the Vikings taking him if he got down that far. Out of the qbs that are out there USC has as close to an NFL run system that you can get. He can't be any worse then TJax.

Welcome to the 49er's Mark Sanchez. I hope you help them more than Alex Smith ever did.

Smart money says San Fran picks the local boy.

niners are sticking with Smith.

what good is a qb if he has no weapons at all. they need OL help, wr help, another RB, secondary help, d line help

not worth taking sanchez here too many other holes besides qb
