Best Teaser Teams and Best Teaser Totals?

Who are the best Teaser Teams in the recent years? That is teams that either cover or at least almost always are within 6.5 points of the spread if they don't cover? The Coach may have a lot to do with Teams that always show up and at least stay close if they don't cover. And there might be teams that are bad Teasers in that they don't cover and often don't cover even with an extra 6.5.

And I wonder if there are stats on what are the best Teaser Totals? That is what numbers usually stay within 6.5 points either way. There must be some numbers that perform better than others. Like, maybe teasing 37 down or 47 up is a high % play. But maybe past results are no guarantee of future results.

I will try to research these two % plays. If anyone already knows or can point me to the best stat sites to research such trends, please let me know.

Thanks!

I did a rundown of last year sides real quick, just using single team 7 point differences, here is a brief survey of the results, the numbers indicate how often the team came at least under 7 points of the line

for totals, roughly 76% of the time a game beat the total over ten points, and 69% of the time seven points

the information isn't that useful how it stands, but can serve as more a less an indicator to some degree of what can be expected

go here for all your historical NFL and NCAAF data

Sunshine Forecast Downloadable Data Files

this has raw scores, lines, and totals back to 1979, all it takes is some excel knowledge and you're in business

might i suggest for a more seamless integration of every file to use microsoft excel and import each sheet via the data source method

in fact if you record the macro of you doing the first sheet, then run all the other sheets in a subsequent loop it shouldn't take but 2 minutes

im not much of a teaser guy lol, too much work

try 10 or 12 points. parity in the NFL lends to only a couple teams a week on either side going this far away from the line. my fav is the 4 team 12 point teaser which pays even
