Dumb question in regards to unit tracking

Most on here track their plays by whether or not they are up/down units. What is the proper way to track/record units? For example, I went 5-5 in golf today with no profit but only knew this based on my selections for the day. With varying units and prices, how does one keep score?

Thanks in advance. PG

IMO as long as wagers are accepted to be -110 or thereabouts then its ok to just keep a W-L record in the NBA, NFL, and Colleges.

NHL & MLB I think its imperative vig gets tracked because everything involves MLs so a 45% capper picking nothing but dogs can be very successful while a 55% laying chalk is most likely in the red.

I track vig personally along with W-L records because I rate my plays most of the time between 1-2 and sometimes even above that so its not fair to say a 1-1 record with a 2* L and a 1* W isnt very accurate as that equates to 1-1 -1.2*

In golf matchups I know they go with MLs, correct? So even though you mightve broken even picking 2 -130 golfers and 2 +130 golfers its best to track the vig also.

Hope this helps

ok, but with pinny lines being all over the place, how would I calculate the money? Do I just look at my book and post whether or not I am up/down?

For example Orlando Magic right now

-6 -107 @ 5 Dimes -6 -110 @ Bet Jam

I would post 3* Orlando -6 if I played at BetJam or 3* Orlando -6 -107 at 5 Dimes

I would score it +3*/-3.30* from BetJam or +3*/-3.21* from 5 Dimes & just keep a running tally.....some people now just post their actual money risked which would imply vig anyways.
