O/U Streaks

I have a quick question, just simply answer ''over'' or ''under'' if you have any knowledge of the following, from historical data, are there more ''under'' streaks, or is there more ''over'' streaks during a season from each team in the NBA or NHL.

I don't know about the streaks but i recently read somewhere that on a season by season basis the percentages have been averaging 50.5% overs to 49.5% unders. I have not proved that out.

It sure seems like the overs are dominating this year so far. Maybe thats about to turn as both SNF and MNF were unders.

Sorry ...didnt see you specified NHL and NBA. I was addressing the NFL.

nba games on tnt generally tend to go under at a decent rate...not really the case so far this year, but in years past it has been money

Betting NFL against the defending champion

You all heard the theory before to bet against last years super bowl winner as the spreads will be over inflated.

But can someone do the numbers on this as far back as you can.

For starters the Saints are 5 and 9 ATS so for this year so far you would be:

year 2010 9 wins 5 loses (so far)

Can someone do the previous years as far back as you can?

Thanks!
