I show different numbers for the NFL football, my numbers show dogs win ATS more often, about 51%

My sample are a little bit different...games 5 thru 17, 1996 to 2010, no playoffs,
pushes not counted and pickem's not counted

sample size is 2765 games

some other studies have shown about the same for the NFL, and some have shown home dogs are slightly better than 51 %

by point spread, the samples start to become to small to be meaningful, but very big point spreads (15 points and up) tend to favor the favorites, 10 to 14 points favor the dogs.

I don't have any numbers on other sports or on college football
