Power Rankings...

occasionally will listen to the Chad Millman podcast and seems like all the guests I listen to cap games on power rankings they create.

Does anyone here cap that way?

If so when creating rankings do you use your judgement or looks at key stats?
If key stats what are some of them?

i've tried off and on, sometimes it seems pretty accurate, other times it's not and i actually go against what my numbers say

i basically use a ranking and change it based on what happens each week, then compare the 2 teams.....stole part of it from dan gordon's book

and in reality, the more i've looked at stuff the more i realize i could just steal the statfox rankings and make my line from there, would be easier especially since i'm a low limit bettor anyway

i might be wrong about this power ranking thing.....I've been trying this one out, and this is the 3rd season...i've always just used it as a guideline and don't have the previous records.
I'm not claiming this as my record because it isn't lol it's just what my sheet looks like and down a few units on my own

Overall, the ranking system went 37-31. I had always bet pretty much nothing but dogs....the ranking on dogs with a power ranking adv is 20-9.

Of course I'm sitting here wishing I had just followed that, but now the question is, do I start fading? lol There's no way that it's going to finish at almost 70% so it looks like I missed out on riding this out so now should I just start fading this shit?
