Explain this please?
Why is it so hard for so many teams in the NFL to gain ONE yard as opposed to most CFL teams?
The CFL has those specially designed plays for those one yarder that work most of the time but in the NFL it seems they're hell bent on having the QBs handing the ball far in the back field and running it into a wall trying to break through or even throwing it and it doesn't work. I don't have stats but it seems to me that the CFL is highly successful at this compared to the NFL. |

In the CFL, the D-Line has to line up 1 yard off the ball. In the NFL they don't.
That's the difference. |

^^ Ya, I figured this was one reason but Tom Brady and his O-line seem to be able to get that one yard pretty constantly like in the CFL. Pats seem to be the most successful at one yarder in the NFL. I don't get why other teams just don't copy that.

I wonder why some of these QB's are not in the NFL . NFL is really hurting at that position especially backup
