Lions fit to be King...
...for a year!!!
Congrats to the Lions and their Fans. Simply an amazing comeback after a 0-5 start in the season. Not just Lulay but Arland Bruce was an addition that sparkled and helped them greatly on offense. Their D is another story of comeback after losing (can't remember his name) the season before--thought they were going to rebuild for the next 3-5 years. Game was good throughout. I expected less. |

Hope you're still with us Ricky Tan.
Don't feel bad cuz no other team could have beaten this edition of the Lions at the GCG. |

Yes, what a year for Lions fans. Arland Bruce made a huge difference on offence as defences could not just zero in on Geroy all game, it gave Geroy space and Bruce remains one of the best receivers in the game. Arland is one of those players that will always fight and lay out for the ball to help his team. The Lions front 4 was amazing during their run and that was the key to their success. Having a legendary HOF player like Brent Johnson coming off of the bench speaks volumes as to the depth of their defensive front. Lastly, their special teams was impressive. McCallum had one of his best years ever and their return game was solid too, especially when Tim Brown was healthy. Overall, a great season and well deserved Grey Cup victory! |

Ya I think the erra of the Alouettes is over. Calvillo seems to be too injury prone in his old age.
Guys, join this convo here, thanks. Can Houston get a CFL QB? |
