Week 14 Lines

EDM @ BC -5 (49.5)
SSK @ CGY -5.5 (55)
HAM -3.5 @ TOR (53.5)

BC looks like the play...but everytime the Esks play a game they should lose, they win.

I think Saskatchewan may just win outright. 5.5 is too much.

Interesting that Hamilton is a bigger favourite than Winnipeg was. WTF?

Montreal line obviously waiting on Calvillo.

I agree that surprised at Hamilton line given what they gave Wpg, especially after a Toronto win too...

BC definitely looks like the play and as of right now, 35,000 tickets sold for the new BC Place Home Opener...$500 Million in improvements to the stadium.

Sask def has value at that price and expect them to bounce back after their showing last week. If Fantuz plays, should be a great play.

I think the fact that Calgary demoted Reynolds to the #3 back has created trouble in the dressing room. Based on that pitiful display yesterday, I think alot of the players are not happy with Hufnagel & the staff.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case...good observation! It did appear there was some disconnect with the players and coaches yesterday. I don't understand the Reynolds move, Cornish is good but having both in the backfield has been successful for them the last few years. Having said that, the defence looked horrible, special teams didn't look very good and the offence couldn't make a play at those critical times they really needed one...we'll see how this season pans out for them.

I can't believe that the Lions are 1 game out of first, they were 1-5 and although I expected a turnaround from them, at that point it seemed like the playoffs would be the goal, now they could host a playoff game and get a bye too.

Calvillo will practice on Tuesday. Whether he plays or not on Friday night Winnipeg is hurting more. MacPherson relieved AC very nicely in Edmonton but I don't expect him (or the other) to be on an offensive passing leash for a game that could tie them for first in the East.

Oh, those pesky T-Cats...they're not part of my plan because the Als will get 1rst (or 2nd) place and that home playoff game means all the difference in the world especially in the Eastern Division.

All-Time Passing Yards:
----------------------
Allen - 72,381 | Calvillo - 71,789

I expect Allen to be surpassed in Week 16 when Hamilton T-Cats come to town (perfect nemesis, good timing)
