If MTL wins this game it will be the 8th time they finish 1st in the East since 2000; 4th consecutive time with Marc Trestman in as many years.

On to the game now...basics side with the Alouettes but the intangibles side with the Blue Bombers. Many Alouette fans are skeptical about winning this one.

As for me I'm going homer again ...the players have already talked about the scenarios of W-L at WPG and I think they go for the W because the last two games are against strong Western teams: Wk 18 vs CGY with a "Hot" Tate--if not Burris does have alot of success vs the Als, and Wk 19 @ BC of all places.

Both sides have equal reasons to W this game so it's 50-50.

Loto Quebec has MTL-3.5 this week...goes to show...

Questions to ponder

Who wants it more?

I think BC is highly motivated to go all the way and play in the Grey cup at home.

Montreal? Do they really want it that bad?

Can improving Argonauts play spoiler? Do they want to play spoiler or just be done with it?

Ricky Ray and Pierce frustrate me to pieces. They both rather take a sack that getting rid of the ball. Why?

I really like Drew Tate but is it too late for the switch to be efficient and go all the way?

This MTL @ WPG matchup has a Statement Game variant (however I try to explain this I cannot be possibly close to being accurate in terminology). Anyways, I see WPG coming on strong defensively...too strong that emotions will overflow. WPG is the most penalized team in the League at 10.7 vs MTL at 9.0 (League avg is 9.3). It will be very costly for the Bombers this afternoon at times with "stupid" emotional penalties.

Go Als Go!!! and be patient.
