2010 NFL Annual Season Contest

Welcome to our 9th annual season long NFL Contest

Please register in the REGISTRATION THREAD so we may prepare properly.

Please use this thread for Rules, Questions & Answers only. All other posts will be moved or deleted.

• You must be registered in the Cappers Mall forums
• One entry/ip per person
• Contest will start with the first reg season game and end with the last regular season game
• Only NFL plays (sides and totals) will be allowed
• Each contestant must select three plays per week
• Each play will be worth 110/100
• Each contestant is allowed three weekends to not select plays (pass). More than 3 passes will be disqualified and will not be eligible for any prize including last place.
• You may not pass on the last week of contest.
• Less than 3 plays submitted will constitute a loss for every pick under 3.
• This contest will be the regular season only
• Threads will be started for the week every Tuesday/Wednesday and lines will be from Tuesday lines and will not change.
• Everyone will use the same lines
• Only plays entered in the correct contest thread will be counted. You may post any time prior to any game, however you may only post once per week. Use all three of your games in one post. If you start a new thread with your picks it will be deleted. You must post in the contest thread.
• You MUST post the team name clearly (avoid abbreviations) and the odds posted must be posted with your pick.
• Cappers Mall and/or scorekeeper will be the official judge of this contest.
• Each week will end after the Monday Night football game of the week.
• Standings will be kept weekly and will be posted every Tuesday
• If you select a game where the line has not been posted yet - you agree to whatever line ends up being posted

PRIZES

First place – $1500
Second place – $750
Third place – $500
Fourth place - $200
Fifth place - $100
Sixth place – $75
Seventh place - $50
Eight place - $50
Ninth place - $50
Tenth pace - $25
Last place – $50 (must make minimum picks and missing picks = losses will D/Q for last place)

If not an active posted in the regular CM forums – prizes will be 25% of posted value

I've just always kept this same format. I don't think there's a big advantage or disadvantage either way so probably keep as is. It gives more ppl a chance to compete.

DR Jack, this may sound stupid but I would like to post but don't know how to do it. I read Q&A put still confused. could you help me further. I know how to respond to some one else when they post their plays. Thanks for any further help.

every week there will be a weekly contest thread in this section that you will reply to just like you did here. The odds of the games will be posted & you'll reply & post 3 picks. So example in week 1, you'll see a new thread in this section like this

You'll find that thread and reply with picks.

active/inactive status is based on 2010/2011 football season, not anything in the past. So if you are active this year you'd get full prize

when you play monopoly do you ask the other players to modify the rules!
