If I would like to become one, how do I start? How much do you need for a bank roll if you wanna do this for a living? Thanks in advance.

Read a book like:

https://www.amazon.com/How-Day-Trade...ds=day+trading

read #1 comment. I use https://www.tdameritrade.com/home.page

If you keep over $15,000 in the account, you get to use day trading margin minimum margins. Trade stock indexes like the DOW (/YMH7) read the / as a futures trade. read YM as the $5 djia index. H is the month of March. Z is December then they work backwards with Jan. =F. 7 is one digit year of the decade. Every point the dow moves is $5. With a $15,000 accont, you could trade 5 contracts or $25/point. Therefore, a 400 point day X $25=$10,000 move. More people trade the e-mini S&P /ESH7 which is $50/point.

Now remember that this big a trade can lose ALL of your money in a few minutes.

90% of people who do this lose money.

I would be remiss if I did not say that you can lose MORE than all of your investment. If you bought 100 shares of Enron @ 80, you could only lose the $8000. If you used a 50% margin and bought $16,000 of Enron, you would have a debit balance.

The brokers can and will use all legal means to collect what you owe them.
