If you fill in a few more details about yourself in public profile, members can help greatly. How old are you? I am 71 so my pick of Southern Company may not be best for you.

A time-honored system is employed this time of year. Every year big money managers rebalance their portfolios this time of year.

Duke Energy (DUK)and Halliburton are more of 'big energy" companies than I would call somewhat aggressive.

1 The first thing I could recommend is using margin.

2 Consider buying the complete S&P 500 index using the leverage of an ETF. This is you put up as little as $5000 margin to be long one mini S&P 500 futures contract. This is the $50 per point contract that expires quarterly. I skipped the March month and bought the June contract. Today this contract is up about 10 points so $50X10=$500 gain on the day.
This is written as /ESM8. The / means you are trading a futures contract. ES is the product code like DUK is for Duck Energy.

You also buy the hottest NASDAQ 100 ($20 /point) or the DJIA( $5/point) in the /YMH8.

About E-mini NASDAQ 100
Based on the underlying Nasdaq 100 stock index, E-mini NASDAQ 100 futures offer smaller-sized, liquid benchmark contracts to manage exposure to the 100 leading non-financial U.S. large-cap companies that make up the Nasdaq 100. The index is frequently used to manage technology exposure due to its heavy technology sector weighting.
