any early looks for today?..........i'm looking hard at a couple..........may play today........will definately post plays if i do..........just wondering what people's thoughts were.............may just play a couple of exacta's, but will welcome any input

I am looking at a few from Philly today.

In race 1, I like #1 Gram's Addiction 9-2 ML comming in off of 2 sprint races and stretching out to a mile today. Under the same conditions last Nov he won at 15-1 comming from off the pace. He has the inside post today and should get a nice ground saving trip. He has 7 lifetime wins(5 at Philly) which is the most wins of any horse in the field.

In race 3, I like #6 Actcentric 8-5ML, a Laurel shipper, who is comming in today off of a 3rd place finish beaten just over a length against 4000 claimers N2Y. Today she faces 4000N1Y, so takes a slight drop after a good effort. Trainer is winning at a 26% clip for the meet.

In race 5, #8 Friendsarecalling 10-1 ML is a horse that caught my eye. This horse is making his second lifetime start after being claimed out his first race by a trainer who won at a 25% clip in 2005. His first race was a 5.5 furlong 10000 claiming race where he drew the 11 post and was wide the whole trip and finished 6th beaten 10 lengths in a 12 horse field. Today, he stretches out to a mile,the blinkers are added and the trainer steps him up slightly in class to 16,000 which to me is a good sign, especially when done by a winning trainer. The 1st and 2nd place finishers in his last race both came back to win next time out, and he has had 4 nice breeze works, including a gate work, since that race. The only negative i see is the fact he once again drew the outside post getting the 8 post in an 8 horse field. I still like his chances.
