A couple of ways to play these:
#1: Play from the Middle – Play the horses that are 5-1 or higher only – in races with only 1 horse going, wheel to horses 9-1 or higher AND the favorite in an exacta to your horse (key).
#2: Play 0 or 1 horse of the four based on what odds you like (they are ranked 1-2-3-Longshot). Wheel the first horse (key) with the other three in an exacta and trifecta. If you prefer, use a box instead of a wheel.

I generally play method #2 – but this week I have been playing #1 and it has been going well. So, I will play #1 today. However, I will alter at times how I play each raced based on the odds right before the race.
