Hit the first 4 pick 3's for a very modest $148.50 total...My total cost was $156 because of some scratches and I did not play another horse. So I lost $7.50 for the day...

How would you have made out with the rest of the card?

I love rolling Pick 3's, but have found that I do my best with them at Monmouth and Delaware Park only. I try to get at least one keyed leg of each ticket or at worst a 2x3x2 ticket just to keep the costs down... since you do see a lot of $30-$50 payouts which if you are playing $1 tickets for $27 doesn't cover. Usually now, I focus more on the doubles (Delaware has rolling doubles).

Let me know the next time you want to try some Calder Pick 3's and maybe if you and I do a consensus we can narrow down some tickets and make some $!

The $156 I spent was for all 8 pick 3's, actually there were 7 pick 3's and 1 pick 4. I had single there to keep it a $27 play. I dont play the pick 3's as much anymore mostly because where i bet tops out at 300-1 on payouts. Which, 300-1 is as good as any offshore betting outfit, but I get pissed when i hit a big one and only got $300 back. But once in a while I do still play them... I have done the pick 3's with less horses to cut my spending costs. Sometimes it just depends on how much I can afford to lose, LOL. I will let you know the next time I plan a pick 3 card...
