A couple scratches in Breeders Cup
Pair scratch from Breeders' Cup card
The Courier-Journal • October 23, 2008 Indyanne, whose 5-for-6 record includes winning Keeneland's Thoroughbred Club of America, was scratched this morning from tomorrow's $1 million Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint because of a fever. Indyanne was a 12-1 shot in in the morning line. In another defection, Elusive Bluff was declared out from Saturday's $2 million Juvenile because of a bruised foot, Breeders' Cup officials said. The son of Elusive Quality is 2-for-2, including winning Belmont's Pilgrim Stakes on turf. Elusive Bluff was listed at 15-1.
