Daily Double Contest For Sunday 4/25/04

This contest is for SUNDAY, APRIL 25, 2004....The rules are as follows and will be strictly enforced...

First off, I would like to thank Dr. Jack for allowing me to have these contest..He has been kind enough to put up a cash prize for the poster who picks the highest paying Daily Double in this contest...Jack is also putting up a smaller prize for the consolation double in case nobody wins the Grand Prize.....

TRACKS FOR THIS CONTEST: Delaware Park, Gulfstream Park, Mountaineer Racetrack and Gaming Resort, Pimlico, Tampa Bay Downs....

1) Pick the Daily Double (winner of races 1 and 2) from 1 of the above mentioned tracks...

2) List one alternate for each race in case your main selection is scratched

3) The Grand Prize winner will be the poster who picks the highest Daily Double based on the tracks payout....The winner will recieve $20 via PayPal...The winner will also be eligible for the big winners only Invitational later in the year (Details will be up when the contest is near)....

4) If nobody hits a Double, then we will have a consolation double that will consist of whoever picks the higest mutual winner in either of the 2 races. The consolation prize will be a Cappers Mall T-shirt...

5) Please use the following format when posting your plays....

6) The deadline to enter your plays is Post Time of the 1st Race of the track you are playing...

7) Automatic Disqualification will be as follows....EDITING YOUR POST, PLAYING A TRACK NOT LISTED ABOVE...POSTING PAST POST TIME....

8) If 2 players tie with the highest amount for any prize, then whoever posted earlier will win the prize....

9) Consolation Prize will only be given out if there is no Main Prize Winner....

I hope you didn't put Aqueduct cause I did and thought it was one of the tracks to choose from. I messed up, Aqueduct is not on the list. I'm not sure what to do now...probably disqualified.

Smitch, you are not eliminated yet since your main picks are on a playable track...However if one of your main picks are scratched you are eliminated...

Woddow, I dont know what is so confusing to you...The format is pretty simple, just read the rules....You just have to pick a main double then 2 lines down pick an alternate for each race in case one of your main double horses are scratched....The reason I did it my way and not the way you said would be easier is because its easier to grade when people dont have 2 horses listed on one line and everything is comingled together....You did not overstep any bounds, I am open to any and all suggestions, like I said its just easier to grade....Unfortuantely Aqueduct is not one of the tracks we are playing today and as per the rules is an automatic disqualification....
