winner in the field and looks to be headed in the right direction for Mike Lauer. Look for him to track the leaders and try to
run by them in the stretch run. PERFECT JOISKI has raced on 3 different surfaces in as many starts, but got his lone win
on the dirt. Manny Cruz, who was aboard for that win, regains the mount today for trainer Kenny McPeek.

After an eye-opening debut win, BIND was hammered down to 1-10 for his second start, but was a bit too eager in his first
route try and got run down in the final furlong. He’s been given a short break by trainer Al Stall and may be a little more
relaxed for his second route try. This Pulpit colt still might be any kind and is the choice in this Allowance affair.
WORLDLY is a 4-year-old that has hit the board in 3 Graded Stakes. He has a solid chance.

Given his connections and a sharp string of works, there’s no doubt C J RUSSELL will gets lots of backing at the windows
in this maiden race. He’s got plenty of speed in his pedigree, but might be overbet here. Try to beat him with a 4-year-old
that woke up in his last start. This Successful Appeal colt has worked well since shipping here and figures to be running
from off the pace under Robby Albarado. TYRUS needed his last one and can improve here.

HILDA’S PASSION certainly looks best on paper in the Humana Distaff, but a 7-week layoff and a very slow work over
this track raise some questions. She might absolulely romp today, but I’ll have to play against her with AMEN
HALLELUJAH. She just missed last time out at Keeneland after a troubled trip and has a license to improve today.
Blinkers will have a bit closer early on and she’ll try to turn the tables on her rival here.

and looks to be on top of his game now. He was a good third here last year in the Breeders’ Cup Sprint and has shown he
can win carrying weight. He’ll rally from off the pace and gets the nod in a very tough race. CAPT. CANDYMAN CAN has
had success here and is unbeaten at 7 furlongs. He’ll be running at the finish under Borel. APRIORITY is a threat.

An overflow field has been drawn for the Woodford and several merit attention here. CARACORTADO didn’t try to the turf
until near the end of his 3-year-old season, but really seem to like it. He didn’t have the best of trips in the Arcadia last time
out and has a right to improve today if he can draw into the race. Slight edge. SMART BID was a game winner in the

The topsy-turvy Kentucky Derby picture got more jumbled on Wednesday when one of the likely favorites,
ARCHARCHARCH, drew the dreaded one post. SOLDAT has looked as good as any in 2011, save for his last effort in the
Florida Derby, when he didn’t care for being on the rail and getting dirt kicked at him. He’ll break from the outside here and
settle into a good early spot, ready to run turning for home. DIALED IN will be rolling late, but must get past 19 rivals.

A wide open maiden race will close out the card and it would be tough to back anyone here that’s a short price. SCUFF
was claimed 3 starts back and has turned in 2 good efforts for his new connections. He should be ready for a top effort
today and will be running from just off the pace under Shaun Bridgmohan. BONAROO struggled earlier this year, but has
shown some life in his last couple of outings. He has a right to improve today with a clean trip as well.
