EAST/WEST SUMMER SURVIVOR

Welcome to the contest:

Each day of the contest players will select one horse from one race from either a NYRA track (AQUEDUCT, BELMONT, SARATOGA) or a SO.California track (HOLLYWOOD, DEL MAR). If only a NYRA track or only a SO.California track are running on a given day the contest is still on.

The object is to have your chosen horse finish "on the board" (1st, 2nd or 3rd). As long as your horse hits the board you survive.

You have 3 strikes. After you have missed three times you are eliminated.

Easy ....right??

The contest ends when there is only one survivor remaining. That player takes the whole prize pool

The cost to enter is 40 reward points donated to me, Immanuel Kant, before the 1st day of the contest. Dr Jack will graciously add 25 points to the pool for each person entered.

Miss a day and you get a strike

Scratches revert to post time favourite unless you get another selection in before post time. The timestamp on the board is final. We'll use the off times at BRIS to determine any past posting issues

Count me in... NYRA and So Cal have historically been a thorn in my side, but the three strike rule helps.

Only question I have... Should both be running and one card get cancelled, do you lose a strike if you don't get a wager in on the other track?

Question... since both NY and CA have been prone to some short fields lately, if there is no show wagering offered, does the horse need to place?

Nope.....needs to finish 1, 2, 3

You can scratch into a no show wagering race and your play would count if the horse finished 3rd, because you were unaware there would be no show wagering...you cannot knowingly play a no show wagering race.
