Wabash.... Here is the line from the chart for this horse with comment:

5 Go Legs Go (Hernandez, Jr., B.J.) 114 L b 4 7 6-2 5-1/2 6-3 7-1/2 9 4.20

GO LEGS GO raced in contention near the inside for six furlongs and tired.

I just went back and looked at that race... while not registering as a play for me, I did notice that the horse was fresh off of the Assmussen claim (usually a huge plus), and had won in the slop over this course before. The pace was a little too hot for him to handle here (1/2 mile in 45.96); but would like to see this one face a field with no real early speed (last out he hit the half on the lead in 47 1/5s). I'd watch for him to be back in for $10k against a softer pace in another one-turn race (mile at CD or 7f or under elsewhere). If the only other speed of the race is going to be hitting the half in 47 3/5 or slower, this guy will be automatic!

Don't worry about bone's comment... we appreciate your picks here!

Go get 'em today Wabash!

Boone, if Mooth or Rcky or one of the others who normally post here had posted that I would have laughed right along with them. But comming from someone I never seen before just hit me wrong I guess... Ho hard feelings...

Wabash,

Look for him to wire a field going 46 and change on the half next out... nice little angle that should set up well if he is back in for a claiming price of 10k or less next out.

We all get some tough beats with racing, stick with what you know works, it will pay off in the long term man!

Wabash,

Anytime one of my top selections fails, I like to see why and maybe determine what I could examine in my angles/figures to make it better. I look at the charts quickly to see if it was beat on pace, dwelling in the gate, jockey error, or just an unlucky trip. Sometimes the horse just isn't 100% and since I can see the horse in the paddock before I post, I am stuck with damaged goods with what I tout here.

Stick with what works and do not let one bum race get you down, we all endure some tough streaks (like when I get a bad case of seconditis)... turn it around and make it work for you ( I bet a lot to place and not to win!).

Smooth,

One bum race will never get me down. I have gambled all my life and I have learned to not let losing bother me. LOL, not that I lose all the time but have had my bad streaks as well as some good streaks. I use the DRF when making my selections and I am still learning some of the angles to use when reading it. I have learned alot on here from you and others and it has helped.

Thanks again, Wabash
