The Green Monkey arrives at Churchill...

The Green Monkey, the 2 year old colt who was purchased for $16 million earlier this year, arrived at Todd Pletchers barn at Churchill Downs on April 7. Pletcher said he doesnt really have a schedule yet, so its anyones guess as to when he may run his first race. Im guessing it will either be at Churchill this summer or Keeneland in the fall. I'll try to keep a watch on him...

WW Your information and wisdom is always welcomed by me.

One more thing, "dollarbills",I'll book what ever you want to bet on Strong Contender for the Derby, looks like he falls far short in graded earnings and won't make the cut.

Its is a ridiculous amount of money.
Owner(s) know that the horse cannot make that money back from racing.
However, the money can be recovered from the horse's performance in the breeding shed.
Therefore, this is strictly a business investment.
