Dollar, I dont think wtburke meant any disrespect with his remark. I understand his point and he is right. Whether Bernardini wins or not, he is not the best bet to make in the Classic. Not if you are wanting to make money that is. Dont get me wrong, I think Bernardini is without a doubt the best horse in the land right now and if he runs his race, he wins easily, but anything can happen. My suggestion to those who want to play Bernardini to win is to key him on top in exacta, trifecta and superfecta bets. The value will be much greater for your money bet. You can bet $100 to win on Bernardini and if he wins, you will win probably about $100, assuming he goes off around even money. However, you can key him on top in a trifecta using 4 or 5 other horses and risk less than half as much with the opportunity to win thousands possibly.

Good luck with your bet and I think you will win it, but to me there is just no value in a Bernardini win bet. Put him on top in exotic bets if you want to make money.
