Head to the Travers and BC w/a Triple Crown?
The owners have said this horse will not run as a 4 year old and have stated that they no doubt want Horse of the Year. Is the Triple Crown in itself enough to win Horse of the Year?

Very good point. I think he has to beat Curlin to be considered.

If he wins the triple crown, the Travers, and then beats Curlin in the Classic, he'll be horse of the year. Of course, that's a lot to ask, but I'd love to see it!
