Heading to Churchill in the morning

Leaving Indy at 8am for Church.......HillDowns that is! Taking my buddy to the Derby Museum, he will thouroughly enjoy it. I was sent something by my Twins Spires card stating that all the races tomorrow are going to be 2 year olds. This could be a nice payoff kinda day. They are also having a "chili cook-off" tomorrow in the infield. Free Chili for all and Patty Loveless is having a concert tomorrow in the infield. Nice weather, food, horses, tradition...does it get much better?? Gonna hit the river boat that night also........ cya guys

Have a great day, Wildcat. My first visit to Churchill has enamored me with horse racing.

When was your first visit? I am originally from Louisville, so it's taken for granted by me at times, only because I have been there hundreds of times. I still get excited though, especially since I live in Indy and don't get there as much as I would like. I always love taking someone there for the first time. I have been to the Derby 19 years in a row. ps. Please don't use big words(enamored) this early in the morning with me having a hangover....thanks hehe

I almost used the British spelling (enamoured) lol. I'll try to keep my responses to two syllables....er, I mean parts, or....eh.....nevermind. Have a great day! Btw, I was there over July 4th weekend. Pat Day won the last race Sunday to win me a Pick 4. Plus day overall.

Guys....It was sweet. My buddy has purchased horse, but he doesn't have control over it until January. He wanted to go down to Churchill and just watch how everything worked at Churchill. Unfortunately, the track was not very nice to me that day. With the losing, it was still an awesome day. Gonna go back in two weeks. Thanks Cheezer, Wabash and JC.
