I survived

$30000 damage to my home thanks to IRENE...but we are all safe and it only adds up to 15000 daily doubles.w2w

Sorry to hear that w2w... we were lucky to be on the high and dry side of the street - my neighbors across the street all lost their basements and had water on their first floors... I stayed up manually scooping out the sump pit once we lost power... it sucked, but we had no damage at all.

Hope your clean-up and repair process isn't going to be too bad... any relief in your area from FEMA?

FEMA has been here twice.Will probably pay for most of clean-up.As usual my insurance company is trying to dodge responsibility for my losses.Finished with clean-up now and trying to get things back in order.I lost 2 computers 2 tv's washing machine and all my betting records and books.Thanks for asking.w2w
