Invasor and Jazil headed to Gulfstream Park...
Invasor and Jazil, both trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, will be heading to Gulfstream Park for their next races. Invasor breezed 4 furlongs at Belmont in :48 3/5 on Sunday and McLaughlin was pleased with how he worked. He plans to get 3 more works in before he goes off in the $500,000 Donn Handicap(GR I) in early February at Gulfstream Park.
Jazil, who made his comeback last Friday at Belmont finishing 2nd in an allowance race, has been targeted for the $350,000 Gulfstream Park Handicap(GR II) on March 3. McLaughlin said Jazil came out of the race last Friday great, so look for him to move forward off that start when he runs at Gulfstream.
