Last chance for "bubble" horses today...

Todays Grade 2 Coolmore Lexibgton at Keeneland is the last chance to earn a trip to the derby. 7 of the 10 horses entered are nominated, so basically whichever of those 7 wins earns a trip to Churchill next month. 1 of the 7, Like Now needs only to finish 3rd or better to guarantee a spot in the derby, since he sits in 20th place on the graded money list. The horse I like today in this race is #9 Fast Parade. This horse has 3 wins and 2 seconds in 5 lifetime starts all in sprint races . 3 of which were 5 1/2 furlongs and he was either on the lead or within a length of the lead at all calls in every race. His last race he recorded a 101 beyer figure. This horse should break to the lead while making his first try around 2 turns. Obviously the key will be how well the jockey can get him to settle down after getting the lead. We all know how much speed means at Keeneland and even yesterday on a sloppy track the horse that got to the lead won 6 out of the 10 races. Todays track is listed once again as sloppy. Fast Parade has run on a sloppy track before also. The result...A 13 length victory at 6 furlongs run in 108 flat while winning a State bred Stakes race at Emerald Downs. ML is 4-1

good luck to all today at the races...

I like your points for this horse wabash... and with a 13 length romp in the slop he MAY be able to go two turns... I just can't pull the trigger on a horse stretching out like this... Remember what happened with Joey P? this horse reminds me alot of him...

I am going to go with the class in this race which I believe is the #7 Chin High... Robbie Albarado gets the call and we all know he doesn't ride garbage.. I just have to look past his 20-1ML.. I am going to use #8 Like Now and #10 Greeleys Legacy... Don't sleep on greeleys legacy.... Just look @ the Gotham G3...

Good luck Trader...Im not sure that Chin High's style fits the Keeneland track since he is a proven closer, but anything can happen. Granted, he did win the Grade 3 Transylvania Stakes on opening day here, but that was on the turf which fits his closing style much better. The other horse I like in this race is #2 Showing Up, who has won his first 2 starts and ships in from Gulfstream. He has had some very sharp works since his last race and should be in the mix.
