Dave, I made an error in my pick 4 winner at Saratoga yesterday. I gave myself a refund on a horse, when I should have received the favorite in its place instead. Balance should be $410.50 instead. Thanks.

When does a favorite take the place of a scratch?? In a Pick 3? In a Pick 4? In a Pick 6 or 8? Daily Double? Superfecta?

sorry...Ive heard of this..but not really sure about it..so I thought Id ask.

I know in a pick 4 they usually do, but the rule is different for different tracks. I wasnt sure about Saratoga until I looked at the results later and noticed there was a payout for the #13 horse, since the favorite won. In a pick 3 there is normally a consolation payout or a refund, again depending on the track rules.
