Hey guys well i want to start horse betting buh i wanna ask one question to start with. How muhc do you get when you pick a horse to come the top 3(SHOW) ive bet 5$ to start with and the horse came first place. Would appreciate some feedback on this and maybe a very helpful site to start at for horse gambling.

There is no way to figure exactly what the payout for a show bet will be. It is all dependent on who the top 3 finishers are. If the favorite finishes out of the top 3, the payout will be more to show because most of the show money like the win money is usually placed on the favorite. So, when you bet a horse to show, you want the favorites to finish outside the top 3 to get a bigger payout. Hope that helps

If you bet $5 to show, you would win back 7.50. The horse paid 3.00 to show for a $2 bet.
