Louisville-base All Pro Championships Inc. had a great day selling Big Brown and Triple Crown merchandise at Belmont yesterday, with one staffer saying it was all sold out by 2 p.m., though the more generic Belmont attire and souvenirs were available.

Then Big Brown lost.

All Pro vice president Bob Nettles said his crews selling the Belmont merchandise had to post the "all sales final" signs after the race because so many people were wanting refunds. It's standard procedure for such purchased merchandise not to be returnable. Just for that reason.
