Morning all...

We got into Mass last night after about 20 hours of driving over 2 days, a drive that normally takes no more than 15 1/2 hours. I think the whole country is under road contruction right now. Since my wife drove a good part of the day, I was able to handicap yesterdays Churchill card while on the road and then checked my results last night just to see how I would have done when we got here. Unfortunately, we missed out on a nice day as I would have had 5 winners including what would have been one of my top picks in He's Awesome who won the 3rd race at 11-1 and paid 24.40,12.40 and 4.60. This horse was running for the second time off a layoff for a trainer who wins at 27% under those conditions and also is a half brother to Ghostzapper. How could someone not take a chance at 11-1. Wish I was around for some of that action. I won't have time to do a complete card for today but am looking over the DRF now and may post a couple of selections in a few if I have time. Some nice stakes races at Churchill today. Getting ready to go watch my nephew play in his LL playoff game. Hopefully be back in a few with some selections...

I tried to make some value selections today and tried to give a little insight to each one also , so definitely suggest playing these selections WPS...

race 1 #5 Out of View 8-1 Son of Montbrook, who is one the leading sires of 2 year olds this year. Trainer is winning at an 18% clip with 2YO starters from 192 starts

race 3 #5 Top Mambo 5-1 Has had 3 second place finishes in 3 tries so far this year. Daughter of Kingmambo, who is one the leading sires in the country this year with 7 stakes winners including 6 graded stakes. Good chance to break her maiden today at a price.

race 5 #3 Friendsturnedfoes 12-1 stretches out to 6 furlongs after closing fast to finish 3rd at 5 1/2 in his debut after a bad start. Trainer has had 3 winners from 6 starts with second timers...

race 6 #2 Mesawmi 10-1 this 3 year old colt is definitely outclassed by Gun Salute and Rush Bay, who will go off as the big favorites, but he has been impressive with 2 wins in his first 2 starts at odds of 12-1 and 17-1. He probably wont get much respect aghain today, but could score again at a nice price...

race 9 #7 Storm's Darling 10-1 this filly finished 3rd last time out to Shadow Cast and Island Sand, who will be the top 2 choices in this race again, but he had a bobbled start and still missed out by only 1 1/2 lengths. Shows 4 nice works since that race and should be ready for the return match at a price...

good luck to all today at the races...
