Watched the stretch run of the Oaks on TVG today and got goosebumps, that horse is special, just can't back the 8-5 filly fully

I agree, she is special but will be facing the toughest field she has ever seen tomorrow. The Oaks field beyong her was the weakest Ive seen in years, so I don't much into that 20 length win. I definitely will try to beat her at 8-5, but will use her underneath in exotics.

I think this race is as wide open as the Derby. I liked POTN in the Derby and still like him here, but not putting all my marbles on him. Look for Friesan Fire to come back strong and run a good race. I also really like Big Drama. This is kind of a mystery horse. He has raced only once this year but ran huge posting a 108 beyer(highest beyer among the colts and tied with filly) and won but was DQ to 2nd due to some bumping in the stretch. That race was in March so has had plenty of time to rest off that performance and shows good set of works leading up to this race. The real mystery is the fact despite basically 6 straight wins minus the DQ, the blinkers will come off for tomorrows race. Whether or not he shows the same speed as in the past remains to be seen. If he does, he could go gate to wire. And don't count out Mine That Bird. If he gets a fast pace which is very possible, he could blow by them all like in the Derby...
