New Pick 3 rules
I was at the track yesterday and Churchill Downs (which was simulcasted) announced new pick 3 rules. Instead of giving you a starting time favorite to replace a scratched horse they are now:
1. Refunding all bets including a horse scratched in the first leg.
2. Allowing for a 2 out of 3 consolation pay off for horses scratched in the 2nd or third leg.
Does anyone know if the New York tracks have adopted these rules? I haven't heard anything like that being in play in the west coast. Coulda used it today with Hagerstown scratching out of the 6th at Hollywood.
