Lightbulb New Weekend Horse Racing Contest -

New Weekend Horse Racing Contest -

Okay we are going to do the same type of contest as last week with a few minor adjustments or changes. I think next week we will use Wabash' idea format and we'll see which gets more participation.

Please read the rules carefully and follow so it's easy for everyone to follow along

Contest will be Fri/Sat/Sun

Sponsored by Bet Jamaica
http://www.betjm.com/default.aspx?ZID=N577 - You must have a pre-existing account. If you do not have one - just signup now. It's free

1. Anyone can play. You just have to have an account with Bet Jamaica. Sign up for a free account above if you do not have one.

2. Please follow this format carefully. With each post you need to have the following with each and every post or "wager"

- Post your bankroll
- Post the track you are playing
- Post the approx time of your race
- Post your actual wager very clearly
- Post your new balance after the race or at the very least before you make another "wager"/post.

3. Each entry gets a $500 bankroll to start. If you get to ZERO, the contest is over.

4. Play anything you want, any way, any track, anytime for Friday Saturday and Sunday. See rule #2 and post clearly. If we have to guess it should not count.

5. The deadline will be 9:00 PM EST on Sunday evening. You can wager on anything up until 9:00 PM. At the end of Sunday whoever has the bigger bankroll will win.

6. Only US tracks are allowed.

7. You must score and keep track of your bankroll. You should score each day the same day. See rule #2 please.

8. Create a thread in this section and title it something like this "Weekend Horse Racing Selections (with your name). All of your weekend action must be in your thread together.

9. If you miss Friday you can still join but you must play something by Saturday.

10. There will be no minimum but you must play something on both Saturday and Sunday at the minimum.

Good luck

Prizes

1st prize) $75
2nd prize) $50
3rd prize) $25

Prizes are free plays with Bet Jamaica. Standard rollover applies. In order to collect 100% value of prize you must be active with BetJM within the last 7 days. Inactive players will win $25 across the board.

We'll continue to monitor the progress of this contest and might add some other ones. The goal is to increase participation in this section of the forum and not just for the contest. If we can get steady progress prizes will increase.

Look for possible daily contests to be added once in a while

Add input for future contests in this thread. Next contest - what is good, bad or needs to change?

Questions and Answers for this contest can go in this thread here.

GOOD LUCK

I know Wabash had mentioned that maybe we should have a 300 or 500 limit, is this the 500 limit or can we wager with whatever we have in out bankroll at any time......For example, If we have 800 carry over for the next day, can we play all 800 or are we limited to our 500 in BETS. Thanks, just making sure.

No - Not this time. Same format as this past week. I just raised the bankroll from $300 - $500. We may try the other format next week
