Opinions on the Blue Grass ??????

#1 Mr Sword (30-1)- Spit the bit in the Lanes End, a Grade 2, but it was muddy. Just couldn't keep up but he does have Bailey today.
#2 Closing Argument (10-1)- Never worse than third in 6 career starts and came out running in the Grade 3 Holy Bull in Feb for his first start this year. Solid trainer.
#3 Spanish Chestnut (15-1)- Looks like he couldn't keep up the speed in his last two. Pace factor at best.
#4 Consolidator (7-2)- Lucas has another one ready for the triple crown run. Very impressive in the San Felipe Grade 2. Highest speed number tied with #5. Paid 1.2 Mill for him last fall.
#5 High Limit (9-5)- Tough to knock a horse who's never been beat. (Smarty Jones) He is a speed horse who's never been fronted with other speed in the race. But Frankel always has the right horse at the right time. Favorite in all three starts.
#6 Sun King (2-1)- Can rate or lead. One of many Zito's ringers. His only two losses against winners were in Grade 1's. He'll be tough.
#7 Bandini (4-1)- Tough contender out of the Pletcher Barn. Didn't get it done against High Fly in the Fountain of Youth Grade 2 and it doesn't get any easier here.

Overall this is a great race at this time of the year. It looks like a Who's Who on the all time trainers list.

I'm leaning towards #2 Closing Argument although he could regress after his first start of the year. But at 10-1 I'll take a shot and make some exactas with the 4, 5 & 6.

I am leaning towards Consolidator here... and Closing Arguement is right behind him in my view here... Sun King and High Limit will likely round out the top of this field....

Thinking about an exacta here 2,4 with 2,4,5,6... maybe a similar trifecta adding 7 for the bottom slot.

Thanks for the write up's bro, good luck today!

I also like Consolidator, then High Limit and Sun King to finish in the money.

We'll see how it plays out.
