Sooth,I know you normally post a full Philly card also, so I purposely refrained from looking at your post until I posted my card. I never tried handicapping at philly before and since they now show it on TVG, thought id take a crack at it. I noticed alot of horses dropping in class in many races. Is that a common trend there. I am a big fan of horses who drop in class, so it was difficult for me to pinpoint certain horses in many races. But sounds like I was thinking alittle like you for about half of them, so will be curious to see how I do...

The class drops can be deceptive there, you need to keep an eye on the conditions... for example you may see this pattern Clm7500N2L, Clm6250N3L, Clm5000N4L.... basically they lower the tag with each condition N2L, N3L, N4L (although there is a Clm500N2L as well). Or my other favorite is all the 4k and 7.5k claimers for non winners of 1 or 2 in the last 6 months.

Part of my problem is that if I can't find a big angle horse in a race, I get fairly disinterested in the entire race and come up with the four horses I list.
