Solid ricky rick! But one thing! I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON!, lol

Do you just need one of the horses to win, for example in

race 7=2.3.4.5.6.8 do you need horse,2 or 3, or 4, or 5, or 6, or 8. to win!?

LOL, I am confused, never bet horses before!

And if you do win one of these, what would the pay out be!?

vipe, you pick three racesand you pick as many horses in each race
as you want.. if one of your horses win each race, then you win
what ever the pick-3 paid at the track..
I just nailed it!!!!!!!!!

Ricky Rick was playing 90 combinations (6 x 5 X 3).
So if any of his combos come in after the 3 races, he cashes.

Some horses only race for the purse money and cannot be wagered on. If that horse wins, it gets the lion's share of the purse but for paramutual purposes, that horse was never in the race, so every horse that got beat by it moves up one spot.

Pittviper...keep in mind that the more horses you pick for each race, the more money it costs for the bet. The way to figure how much a bet will cost is to simply multiply the number horses you pick in each race by each other. In other words, if you pick 3 horses in each race it will cost 3x3x3=$27 for each $1 pick 3. If you just pick 1 horse in each race it would cost $1 for each $1 pick 3. The payouts will vary depending on the horses that win. If you can get a longshot to win 1 it can inflate the payout immensely. Hope this helps...

Ricky, I sure hope whoever you bet with didn't actually take this bet for you, because there was no pick 3 wagering for the 7th race, only a pick 4...

Viper...It totally depends on how many people have the winning ticket. If 3 favorites win all 3 races, the payout will not be that much. If a longshot is a winner then the payout will be more. There is no set value as to what you will win. Some pick 3 will pay only $20-30 and some can pay as high as $1000...Check out some results form different tracks and see what the payouts were and how much the horses who won paid to win in each race and you will get an idea as to how the payouts work.

Hope this helps...
