Small field for Preakness

It looks like it might only be 6 or 7 horses for the race Saturday. Do you think it's going to be a two horse showdown?

I went to Indiana Downs three times last week then I went to Churchill Sunday. Since Indiana Downs is so small, I am going to watch online and see how they do their coverage. Basically what I am saying is that I am going to go there when it warm and wear my Cappersmall T-shirt so that everyone at home can see...I will let you guys know when I am going to be there.

You should wear the CM tshirt to a nude beach.....that way you would be easier to spot LOL

There won't be any traffic problems in a short field.

WildKat, how does ID compare with Hoosier Park? We have been wanting to get up there one time this year and hopefully we can.

As for the Preakness, the field could be as high as 10 right now. Here is a list of the 10 possible runners as of today...

1. Barbaro
2. Brother Derek
3. Sweetnorthernsaint
4. Bernardini
5. Like Now
6. Diabolical
7. Hemingway's Key
8. Greeley's Legacy
9. Platinum Couple
10. Ah Day

The first 7 have pretty much commited to running, and the last 3 are definite possiblities. Pretty much looks like a 2 horse race though.

The Courier Journal just reported that your first 7 have committed and the last three are possibles............Wabash, I think that Mr. Preakness is calling you right before he calls the media..........

Uh, I have been to Hoosier Park a couple times, but it was two years ago. I would guess that it is a little better than Indiana Downs because it is run by Churchill. I may be wrong though. During the week, Indiana Downs has about 400 people in attendance. You can sit at the bar and be within 20 feet of the owners and trainers. It is nothing like Churchill or any major track, but if you are a degenerate it will feel you need to throw down a couple bucks. I am guessing that the only thing that keeps these tracks alive is the simulcasting.
