Something learned

Being the last week of the Saratoga meet, I have learned that many of the trainers that I follow and get info from are crying, Richard Violette is one. There are MANY trainers that do not have stable space at the Spa. They are working their horses down state and shipping them up for a race. A lot of their horses never see the Saratoga track until race time. Most of you that follow horse racing know this is a BIG disadvantage, you know that different surfaces do different things and the horse will respond differently on different surfaces. If I only knew this in the first week of the meet, not the last.
With that being said, watch for horses returning to the Spa with down state works, chances are the trainer has seen the way the horse responded to the track and has them properly placed in a race. I know Richard Violette is trying to get a winner or two before Monday's close of the meet.

You don't?!?
Jeez, how I love German email accounts.... half the time people do not get mails and during the other half you can not send emails thanks to technical problems!
I'll re-send it!
