Wabash, I see your handicapping is doing pretty well. I mainly just go to the local track when it is season. I mainly use DRF's report (trainer, work outs, etc.) combined with the Beyer Speed figures and then combine those results with the Neurax Pro crunched numbers. I seem to either hit 6/9 exactas OR take a complete bath. Just curious as to what system you utilize. Thanks, and sorry if this is asking too much or you have all ready stated your system. I'm relatively new to the site.

Beo,

I also use the DRF when studying a race and making my picks. Don't have any particular system, I just look for certain things. I am fairly new also to playing the horses and have learned alot on here from some of the regs, especially Smooth. I am big on class and always looking for a horse taking a drop in class who has performed well recently. I usually study the charts and look for 3 top horses and then go from there before making my final choice. I wish everyday was like yesterday at Turfway, but unfortunately, those days are are far and few in between. Where you from and what track do you go to? I am in Indiana and go to Ellis and Hoosier frequently during season. Will be heading to Churchill for the first time when their spring meet starts in 2005, looking forward to that. Keep posting and asking questions and you will learn alot on here. Good luck to you....

Thanks for the response,

I'm from Texas and go to Retama Park. Good luck to you also. Hopefully this board will improve both our handicapping skills.
