Vacation...

For those who follow along with my picks, I may not post as much over the next week as the wife and I are heading East to visit family for a week or so. I will post Wed and Thursday for sure and wont Friday. After that it will depend on computer access and how much time I have to study racing form to make picks. Should return by the following weekend hopefully for posts on Sunday.

Thanks, Smooth...We are off to New England for about a week. Going to Canton, Mass first for the weekend to visit my sister and her family and then to Westerly RI, our hometown to visit the rest of the family...One of these days we will make it to some of the race tracks in NJ and when we do, Ill let you know for sure. My wife told me last year after the first time I took her to Ellis Park(she loved it) that she wanted to go to every track in the country and I'm not gonna let her down!!! lol

That sounds good bro... if you guys are in Jersey, my wife and I will take you and yours to Monmouth, Meadowlands, Philly, and/or Freehold (depending on the dates, Atlantic City Race Course).... if the women would rather shop, we could hit the track and let them do their thing!

My field office is actually right by Aqueduct... I'll have to try getting over there one day!

I have been to terre haute a few times but have driven through to go to indy a lot. I am from Evansville and went to college in Vincennes. I also lived in Indy for a while about 5 years ago. I still have a good friend that I went to high school with that lives in Indy. I usually go to an OTB in evansville since ellis does not run all year around. I also like to go to Ellis when they are running live. I enjoy the live racing a lot more than going to an OTB and watching on tv. I hope you get a chance to come to Ellis at least a few times. It is a great time "as you know".

Acidflea, I will certainly be going to Ellis a few times this summer, so maybe we can hook up one day for some fun. We just got back from vacation tonight and came back by way of Louisville this afternoon and were at Churchill for 7 races. It felt good to look at a program and handicap some races since I haven't done it in a week. I am hoping to start doing Churchill again starting tomorrow if I have enough time. Have to get organized again after being away for a week. Will definitely have a post for Sunday's card.
