Website with free system/formula picks?

Hey guys

I've done a lot of searching, but can't find exactly what I'm looking for.
There was a website I used to go to daily that had great computer generated/formula picks. Bad things is that I can't remember that site.

Maybe I should just buy track programs and handicap.

Any help is appreciated.

thanks

there are so many systems out there, my suggestion to you is buy a program and handicap it yourself.
be aware of track bias on any given day

I know a lot of guys that sell or sold picks, even software generated picks - like anything, some of them are best in certain situations and those selections may vary by surface type and scratches (may change the probable pace scenario).

I developed a realtively dependable 'system' a few years back and have it automated so I can dump data files into excel - but it is cumbersome and time consuming to use, so I generally rely on my own handicapping skills and make adjustments after I see the changes (scratches, jock switches, equipment, etc.) Plus that working a full time job thing and having a family eats up the time I used to be playing the ponies with...

Good advice. While many 'patterns' or 'angles' hold up across the board, there are some meet specific factors that either help or hurt. Knowing local connections is always key. When I used to have a ton of free time, I would chart key races on a couple of circuits (typically NJ, Philly, Delaware) since horses would ship in and out of each regularly.

Jim Mazur at Progressive Handicapping does do a good job on analyzing local connections - but it costs you a couple of sheckles...
